Q: What’s included in the trip price?
A: Most trips include:
Round-trip flights from designated gateway cities
Local transportation throughout the destination
Accommodations at selected hotels or resorts
Selected meals (breakfasts, group dinners, or special meals as noted)
Planned group activities and excursions
On-site Queer as Traveler hosts and support
Optional activities, extra meals, and personal expenses are not included.
Q: Are the trips refundable?
A: Payments are non-refundable once booked. Please make sure all details are correct before completing your booking.
Q: Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
A: Bookings are non-transferable. Only the traveler who made the booking can participate.
Q: How do I know my trip is confirmed?
A: All trips are managed privately by Queer as Traveler. Once you book, you will receive a confirmation email and instructions for next steps.
Q: Can I book flights separately?
A: Depending on the trip, most flights may already be included as part of the package. We can advise you on the best options.
Q: What if I have special dietary needs or accessibility requirements?
A: Let us know when booking — we work with our partners to accommodate dietary restrictions and accessibility needs wherever possible.
Q: Do I need travel insurance?
A: Travel insurance is highly recommended for all trips to cover unexpected events like flight delays, medical emergencies, or cancellations.
Q: How do I join a trip that isn’t fully detailed yet?
A: You can join the waitlist for $0 or book directly once pricing is announced. You’ll receive an email when the trip is ready for full booking.
Q: Do I need travel insurance?
A: While travel insurance is optional, we highly recommend it to protect your trip from unexpected events like cancellations, delays, or emergencies.
